» Kissing: You can try. He probably won't like it.Let's not worry about ESPer Mode since I really doubt anyone would try when he has it active. Please be careful about this if you're catching him off-guard or attempting to do it against his will.
» Flirting: You can try. He will either be annoyed by it or ignore it.
» Sexual conduct: Yes. Contact me. It needs to make sense, be in-character, and be discussed beforehand. I'd prefer to avoid non-con. » Warnings: Accelerator willingly participated in an inhumane science experiment that required he battle 20,000 armed Misaka clones to the death. By the time the experiment was frozen he had already killed 10,031 of them. TL;DR scientists manipulated him into being a mass murderer whoops. More details in his app. He is not super forthcoming about this, but he also does not hide this horrid part of his past. Also let's see... He's a victim of psychological abuse. He's a verbally abrasive Tsundere Grumpybutt McDouchebag with a foul mouth and is known to make the occasional sexually charged comment. He knows so many ways to break the human body it makes him sick. And he has a super annoying, potentially godmodey psychic ability, so characters who antagonize him probably should carefully consider whether or not it's worth incurring his wrath. Introduction
Accelerator is a powerful psychic who underwent the Power Curriculum Program in Academy City. He currently holds the Number One position among the seven Level Five espers in the city. The power levels go from Level Zero (Person With No Powers) to Level Five (Person With Super Powers). As you might imagine, the higher the level, the fewer espers in that strength category. Level Fours are considered one-person tactical forces, and Level Fives are veritable one-person armies.
Psychic powers work based on quantum theory and the idea that the esper possesses a Personal Reality which he or she then inflicts on the surrounding reality. Personal Reality is a reality of an esper's very own, cut off from the reality of others, and something that allows them to deliberately choose a particular possibility and use it to make changes to the world. Each esper can only manipulate one particular aspect of reality, be it teleportation, the temperature of whatever is touched, electricity, water, etc. As such, there are some limitations as to what an esper can do.
All espers from Academy City have what is called an AIM diffusion field. The link provides a thorough explanation on AIM fields in general; what's important to know when it comes to Accelerator is that his AIM field takes the form of a thin film of invisible energy surrounding his entire body. It is unconsciously generated at all times, and is only detectable using either special high tech machinery or abilities that can sense such things. The AIM field is what allows espers to make changes to their Personal Reality, and acts as unconscious interference in the reality of others.
The Ability: The Deets
Accelerator's ability is Vector Transformation. Despite what the wiki link says, he always refers to it as "Vector Transformation/Change/Control" in the novels/anime/manga. This ability is a special form of telekinesis that allows him to change the vector values (magnitude and direction) of any vectors that come in contact with him. Some examples of vectors are force, momentum, gravity, waves/rays (sound, UV, shock, etc), electrical charge, heat flux, velocity, friction, air pressure, and projectiles aimed at him. It has a high potential for destruction, and works both passively and actively.
Passive: The ability can work automatically based on a subconsciously developed filtering system that uses predetermined criteria to sort the harmless vectors from the harmful. This has protected him from the likes of UV rays, projectiles, physical and psychic attacks, and he can alter the settings as needed in order to do things like redirect sound waves, defy gravity, etc. Upon contact with his AIM field the ability changes the direction of an affected approaching vector to its opposite. So for instance if he's in ESPer Mode and someone shoots him with a gun, the bullet would wind up fired back at the shooter (cw: shooting death), and someone trying to punch him in the face could wind up breaking their wrist from all the force sent back at them. Due to the effect his ability has on approaching vectors, this is not an absolute barrier of defense. Details on the loopholes related to this in a bit.
Active: He can use his vector transformation to deliberately change the vector values he comes in contact with to values of his own choosing. This allows him to do things like mimic superhuman speed and strength; create plasma, dust explosions, wind tornadoes and shock waves; manipulate someone's blood flow or bioelectricity; electronically rewire a girl's brain to delete a computer-like virus from it; stop and crush the front end of a car aiming to ram into him; fire a gun at his own head and alter the trajectory to accurately hit the target in front of him in order to bypass a messed up gun sight; jump from a bomber plane safely without a parachute; walk safely through molten lava; detach a building from its foundation and throw it at another building several blocks away; pick up a car with one hand and throw it at a nuclear bomb shelter with so much force it put visible cracks all over the outside of said shelter; and turn snow into an attack of high speed water jets. This list of canon examples is not exhaustive. This AMV (contains some violence, blood and death) show footage of several applications of his ability in action, both active and passive. As long as it has a vector (magnitude and direction), he can theoretically manipulate it.
In this category as well, he can reverse-engineer vectors based on unknown laws that his body has experienced in order to analyze the laws behind them. This is mostly applicable to laws outside the realm of natural science, like those of divine or magical origin.
Loopholes and Weaknesses:
• Using his vector transformation requires a lot of high-speed, complicated mental calculations that his Personal Reality then executes. As such, mental disturbances and lack of concentration can affect these.
• There are potentially other ways to disrupt his calculations and stop him from using his ability. Two canon examples are an abnormal wind that disrupted his attempt to control the wind and create plasma, and a device that creates a specially designed sound wave that throws his calculations out of order. This is far more likely to come into play when large and complex calculations are needed for whatever he's doing.
• More than one person has used the mechanics of his ability's automatic Redirection to bypass his ability by using speed and pulling back at the last fraction of a second. If done properly this can trick his ability into pulling the invading vector toward Accelerator and, for example, basically making Accelerator get attacked instead of deflecting the attack. That said, it is highly difficult to accomplish and requires a working knowledge of Accelerator's ability as well as the technology or physical attributes/training to pull it off.
• Attacks that use vectors operating on laws unknown to him (i.e. laws outside of known Earth science) can get through as long as he has not yet reverse-engineered the vectors to figure out the laws behind them.
•And the big one: Accelerator has brain damage. He currently must rely on a choker-style medical device around his neck. It contains an electrode that connects him to the Misaka Network, an electronic brainwave network comprised of the brainwaves of roughly 10,000 clones of one of the other Level Fives. The clones are all only around Level Three or so. The clones' network is able to compensate for less than half of his original power. Running out of battery life is a huge concern for him, and this device has been shown to be susceptible to anything that blocks or jams electromagnetic signals. In order for him to be functional in Carvaka let's just assume he somehow can get a good signal in-game, but that signal blockers and jammers could still pose a problem. As of late January 2016, Accelerator's brain damage has been healed and he no longer relies on the Misaka Network to do his calculations.
The Choker-Style Electrode
Due to brain damage Accelerator's ability is mostly inactive; the black choker and electrode setup around his neck offers electronic assistance to help compensate for the brain damage and give him basic daily living functions like speech, motor, and calculation faculties. There are three modes.
Off: No assistance whatsoever. He cannot move very well, understand language, or do basic calculations. BRAIN DAMAGE AT ITS CLASSIEST.
Normal Mode: The mode he's usually in about 95% of the time. Basic speech, motor and calculation ability, although he is unable to walk very far or well without a cane. Also, UV rays are automatically deflected away from him. It's impossible for him to get sunburn, tan lines, etc as long as he's in this mode.
ESPer Mode: Full use of his abilities. He does not require a cane to walk when in this mode. There are several ways to get past his ability, but unless your character can negate/nullify abilities or is using something that operates on a different set of laws, this probably requires a knowledge of how his ability works, what the choker around his neck does, and what the loopholes are.
The battery lasts for up to 48 hours on Normal Mode or 30 minutes on Esper Mode. This is a hard and fast limit due to battery capacity. As such, he tries to conserve battery life when he can and not use his ability frivolously.
As of late January 2016, Accelerator's brain damage has been healed. The choker-style electrode remains around his neck, but he no longer has to rely on the Misaka Network to do his calculations.
Awakened Modes
Under the right circumstances Accelerator can enter either of two awakened modes: Black Wings and White Wings (Angel Mode). These are powerful modes he can enter purposefully, but they require certain conditions to trigger. Awakenings happen when the affected person has a significant change in thought processes, like having a sudden epiphany or decisive moment.
Black Wings: Major power boost, no need to rely on the Misaka Network for calculations. Black wings come out of his back like explosive jets of black mist. These are long, sharp, plentiful, and fast, capable of being used as blades to stab targets in front of him. Can update the laws of reality, manipulate real vectors, imaginary vectors, and vectors he is not directly touching. Can speak the language of the angels. Requirement: Being pushed into a corner psychologically or emotionally and making the desperate resolution to defeat the enemy no matter the consequences.
White Wings (Angel Mode): Major power boost, no need to rely on the Misaka Network for calculations. White wings come out of his back. These are long, sharp, plentiful, and fast, capable of being used as blades to stab targets in front of him. Can update the laws of reality, manipulate real vectors, imaginary vectors, and vectors he is not directly touching. Can speak the language of the angels. Can float and instantaneously travel long distances. Requirement: The desire to protect must be the reason behind his decision to defeat the enemy.

As evidenced by the explanations above, Accelerator's ability is capable of high levels of destruction. At his current canon point he prefers not towaste battery life unnecessarily or hurt those that don't deserve it. He's a very backhanded pacifist who's trying to become, if not a good person, at least a better person than he used to be. Hurting innocents and noncombatants is a huge no-no in his book. That said, there is potential for situations that would make him decide to use his ability. Not all of these would be harmless usages. I will make an effort to consult players beforehand on any usages that aren't mundane bitty things, so please rest assured that nothing major will be sprung on characters or players without consent.
