So? I haven't been in contact with anyone blood-related since I was maybe five. It'd just really disturb me to sleep with someone I considered family or who acted toward me that way, be it parent or child.

Why haven't you seen any relatives for so long?

They stopped giving a shit about me. It's not uncommon for parents to abandon their kids in Academy City shortly after their enrollment fees. I guess developing monstrous powers like mine was just too fucking much for them.

You're one of the few people who's ever thought that in my entire life.

I can destroy anything with a single touch. A person's body. Their life. A nuclear bomb shelter. Clearly someone that dangerous is forever a liability. Just by existing I've only ever invited conflict. The few months I've been here and the year or so I was stuck in the last weird dimension outside of my home world are probably the most peaceful times of my existence. At this point I've stopped caring as long as people leave me the fuck alone.
